If you are more into rolling with the punches, then you might want to go with something that is more visually appealing and doesn’t necessarily hold any special meaning. Geometric patterns and abstract are might be the most appealing to you.
In short, be sure to not decorate your home because you think it will please others. Your home’s decorations should make you happy and comfortable, you are the one living in it! If plants and flowers are your interests then by all means fill up the home with them. If bold patterns and wild colors are attractive to you, why not use them? The things that make you different are the things that make you special. It should be the same with your home – a reflection of YOU.
